I have recently joined the School Improvement Team at RBC as a School Partnership Advisor after being the Headteacher at Wilson Primary School.  I thoroughly enjoyed my 12 years as a head but was ready for a new challenge!  It is great to be working with such as dedicated and hardworking group of headteachers in Reading.

 

I am really looking forward to this year’s conference as I feel the wide variety of speakers will have something to offer everyone.  Also the time to meet and work with other colleagues is a valuable part of the conference as well as enjoying the wonderful setting and venue.

 

What this year's theme means to me:

 

I think the theme of creating waves is very relevant and will give us the opportunity to feel brave enough to make the right decisions for our schools.  Doing less things better!
