Charlie Clare
Charlie Clare has worked in Reading for 25 years as headteacher of Geoffrey Field Junior School and Chair of the Whitley Excellence Cluster- WEC.
He is a National Leader of Education and his school is a National Support School.
Geoffrey Field Junior has worked with a wide number of schools and teachers in the area and beyond and has been a launch pad for many senior leaders.
He is a certified trainer of Ruby Payne’s “Aha Processes”- an organisation dedicated to promoting understanding of those born into generational poverty.
He strongly believes in the power of presenting children with choice and opportunity.
He is a strong advocate of challenging, residential outdoor education.
What the conference itself means to you
I guess I see it as a pit stop- time out to get better on the track and get a shot of enthusiasm by listening to inspiring people in the company of colleagues who share a common goal.
